In December 2021 Austin traveled to Captiva Island, FL, to star in Sentimental Journey, a production at the South Seas Island Resort.

While on the Island, he stayed with some good friends, and this prose-poem was inspired from his marveling at the beautiful boards making up the floors of their home.
