Hello again everyone. I performed a concert at Chapel-By-The-Sea on Captiva Island, Florida on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2019, and it went extremely well! I was fortunate to have Sticks Walker on drums. The crowd was really into it. It is an answer to a prayer when a solid connection is achieved with the audience and me, and that was certainly the case here, and then some! The applause was sustained and heartfelt. My song “God’s Locomotive” was the lynch-pin/premise of the show, but a song I had written in 2006, and just worked up for this event, “The Grand Companion” really grabbed ’em big time! This song emerged from a reunion I had with my two brothers in Utah in 2006. My older brother, Frank, took me to see what he called the “big ditch”, commonly known as the Grand Canyon, and the song came out of that. I’ll type the lyrics so you can see the song. I’m also showing the words so a lady who visited with me after the Chapel show can enjoy them. She has to read lips, and feels she might have missed a few things during the concert, so here it is for all y’all…
